I usually leave the recipe posting to my lady friends, but this tea is really one of the best drinks I've ever made. And, it's really healthy too. I got this from a co-worker, and I don't know where she got it, but I'm glad I know about it.=
Iced Cinnamon Green Tea
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cardamom seeds
4 or 5 whole pepper corns
4 bags of green tea
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the cinnamon sticks and pepper corns. Crack open just slightly the cardamom seeds, then add to the water. Allow to simmer for 4 or 5 minutes. Add tea bags and steep 2-4 minutes. Strain the whole lot. I sometimes leave the cinnamon sticks in the pitcher. This tea is awesome without any extra sweetener, but I sometimes add a bit of agave nectar if I want some sweetener. This is a good drink for people who need adhere to a less caffeinated diet, or who are working with inflammatory issues like Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
